Shreveport police investigating shooting that sent one man to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Shreveport, LA – According to the Shreveport Police Department, the shooting occurred right before 6 p.m. Thursday.

It happened at the Cooper Road Plaza apartments in Shreveport’s MLK neighborhood.

Shreveport Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

When the officers arrived on scene, they found one male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police say the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. 

No suspects have been arrested yet. 

This incident remains under investigation.
