Shreveport, LA – According to the Shreveport Police Department, this unfortunate accident occurred right after 12 p.m. Tuesday.
It happened in the 3400 block of West Bert Kouns.
Shreveport Police Department officers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding officers found the victim lying unconscious on the shoulder of the roadway.
Police said the victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, where he later died.
The victim’s age or identity have not yet been released.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian waited for officers to arrive.
No arrests have been made yet.
