Local man sentenced to two years in federal prison for firearm charges

Shreveport, LA – According to the court documents, his name is Quinterrius D’Lon Brown and he was sentenced to two years in federal prison.

The 20-year-old defendant pleaded guilty in September to illegal receipt of a firearm by a person under indictment.

Prosecutors said the defendant has other charges pending in Caddo District Court.

The 20-year-old defendant was arrested in March 2020 for attempted first-degree murder in connection with a drive-by shooting.

He also has charges of second-degree murder and aggravated criminal damage to property.
