Shreveport, LA – Shreveport Police Department officials said the shooting occurred right after midnight early Saturday morning.
It happened on Fairfield Avenue.
Shreveport Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one adult male victim.
Police said the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The victim’s age or identity have not yet been released.
Investigators believe the victim and his girlfriend were arguing and the suspect reportedly tried to break up the fight.
The suspect, who is minor, shot the victim.
No arrests have been made, police said.
