Tangipahoa Parish, LA – According to the Louisiana State Police officials, the fatal accident occurred on Friday.
It happened on LA Highway 1045.
Louisiana State Police troopers responded to a report of a crash.
The responding troopers discovered that two vehicles crashed at the location.
Troopers said that the driver of Nissan Titan crossed the center line and struck Ford Focus.
The 26-year-old driver of the Ford Focus suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was later identified as Ayanna Rogers.
The driver of the Nissan Titan, who was not identified, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
This incident remains under investigation, officials said.
