Caddo Parish Juvenile Services and Juvenile Court will host the South-Central U.S. Human Trafficking Conference

Caddo Parish, LA – According to the statement, this event will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 8:30am at Louisiana State University-Shreveport (University Center).  

Officials have announced that this year, the event will feature human trafficking survivor and national advocate Cyntoia Brown-Long.

The event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is encouraged.

The annual conference will cover a variety of issues, including human trafficking in Louisiana and the complex trauma that accompanies it, warning signs and red flags and information from service providers for prevention, intervention and treatment for victims and survivors.  

The event is sponsored by Caddo Parish Juvenile Court / Caddo Parish Juvenile Services; Caddo Parish Commission; Community Foundation of North Louisiana; Louisiana Children’s Trust Fund Pelican Center – Court Impact Programs and The FREE Coalition to End Human Trafficking in Louisiana.
