Lafayette police attend Klondike Middle School career fair

Lafayette, LA – Officers from the Lafayette Police Department recently participated in the Klondike Middle School Career Fair, providing students with an opportunity to learn about careers in law enforcement.

Officer Kole Bossong, along with K9 Raider, engaged with students at the event, answering questions about police work, the responsibilities of a K9 handler, and how police dogs are trained to work alongside their partners.

The department thanked Klondike Middle School for hosting the event and for fostering discussions about public service careers, emphasizing the importance of introducing young people to law enforcement and community safety roles.
