Abbeville, LA – Abbeville High School will shift to remote learning on Wednesday, April 30, following a water main leak on the campus. According to the school’s administration, repairs to a main line are necessary, and water service will be temporarily unavailable during this time.
In response to the disruption, students are instructed to check Google Classroom for virtual assignments, which must be completed on the scheduled day. The school emphasized that all students are expected to maintain their coursework through online channels despite the unusual circumstances.
For seniors, an important reminder was issued: all coursework, including assignments from Edgenuity, must be submitted by Friday, May 2, to meet graduation requirements.
The school district has assured that normal operations will resume once repairs are completed. In the meantime, students and parents are urged to stay informed by monitoring communications from the school and checking Google Classroom regularly.
