AT&T announced that many Shreveport households will receive free internet as part of their efforts to bridge the digital divide

Shreveport, LA – According to the statement, AT&T is combining a new plan called Access from AT&T with recently announced federal benefits from the Affordable Connectivity Program to bring the cost of internet down to $0 for eligible families.

The Affordable Connectivity Program helps low-income households pay for broadband service and internet connected devices.

The Access from AT&T program now provides faster internet plans with up to 100 Mbps of symmetrical speeds for $30 per month, an increase from the 10 Mbps maximum provided in our original Access from AT&T plan.

Ladies and gentlemen, first you need to confirm that you are eligible for the ACP benefit and get approved with the federal government’s National Verifier.
