Breaux Bridge Police Arrest 19-Year-Old in March Shooting Death

Breaux Bridge, LA – Police have arrested a 19-year-old male in connection with the fatal shooting of Andre F. Arceneaux, also 19, which took place on March 2. Malik Rylon Alexander was booked on charges of second-degree murder and is being held at the St. Martin Parish Jail on a $1 million bond.

The shooting occurred around midnight on Hollier Road, a residential area in Breaux Bridge. Arceneaux was found suffering from gunshot wounds and later pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities began investigating the incident immediately, and after weeks of inquiry, they identified Alexander as the suspect.
