Crash Involving Car and Tractor Under Investigation in Vermilion Parish

Vermilion Parish, LA – The Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred shortly after noon on Monday in the 7000 block of Roosevelt Road.

According to sheriff’s deputies, a passenger vehicle collided with a tractor in a rural area of the parish. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene shortly after the incident was reported. While details remain limited, the cause of the collision is still under investigation.

Authorities have not released information regarding the number of people involved, the extent of any injuries, or whether anyone was transported to the hospital. The identities of those involved have also not been disclosed.

Roosevelt Road remained partially blocked for several hours as first responders worked to assess the situation and clear debris from the roadway. Drivers were asked to avoid the area during the response and investigation efforts.

The Sheriff’s Office is expected to release additional information as it becomes available.
