Crowley, LA – A 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred on September 15, 2024, at a newly built home in Crowley. Allen White III was taken into custody and booked into the Acadia Parish Jail on eight counts of attempted murder. His bond has been set at $150,000.
According to Crowley Police Chief Troy Hebert, White was identified as a suspect after investigators reviewed surveillance footage from the scene. The footage reportedly showed White, along with several others, firing shots at the home.
White was initially arrested by Lafayette police in connection with a separate shooting in the Hub City. Following that arrest, he was transferred back to Acadia Parish to face charges related to the Crowley shooting.
