DUSON, LA — The Duson Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a woman who has been missing since Tuesday evening.

Cassandra Broussard, 46, was last seen at her home around 7:35 p.m. on March 4. According to authorities, Broussard left food cooking on the stove and informed her family that she was heading to the store for a brief trip. However, she never returned home and has not responded to phone calls or text messages, which is unusual for her.

Authorities say that this behavior is out of character for Broussard, and her sudden disappearance is causing concern. Broussard was driving a silver 2013 Infiniti M37S with a temporary Louisiana license plate, number 19716053, at the time of her disappearance.

The Duson Police are actively investigating the situation and have reached out to the public for help in gathering any information that could lead to locating Broussard. Anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts or any details regarding her disappearance is urged to contact the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Dispatch Center at 337-236-5895.

This ongoing investigation has sparked concern within the community, as Broussard’s sudden disappearance remains a mystery. Authorities are hopeful that tips from the public will lead to her safe return.
