Icy Roads and Water Issues Lead to Court and Government Office Closures

Lafayette, LA – Due to hazardous icy roads and ongoing water issues, several courts and government offices will remain closed on Friday.

The 15th Judicial District Court, which serves the parishes of Lafayette and Vermillion, has announced it will be closed for the day. Additionally, the 16th Judicial District Court in St. Mary Parish will also be closed, while Iberia and St. Martin parishes will continue normal operations.

Authorities are urging residents to stay informed as more closures may be reported throughout the day. As icy conditions persist and water-related issues impact the region, further disruptions to local services are expected.
