Lafayette Police Department requests public help to identify theft suspect

Lafayette, LA – The Lafayette Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect connected to a theft that took place on July 20, 2025, around 3:00 a.m. at the Marathon Gas Station located at 1103 Teal Road.

Authorities described the suspect as having a pierced left ear.
