LAFAYETTE, La. — The Lafayette Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that occurred on Sunday evening in the 2100 block of Johnston Street, near The Ground Pat’i Restaurant.
The incident took place around 7:30 p.m. and has left two victims injured. Authorities have not yet released further details about the victims or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
