Louisiana man arrested on drug charges following Interstate 20 traffic stop

Ouachita Parish, LA – According to the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office, his name is Benjamin Kimball and he was arrested on Monday.

Deputies said the 42-year-old man was arrested following Interstate 20 traffic stop.

Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s deputies initiated a traffic stop on Dodge Durango.

They said the vehicle was traveling without a visible license plate.

The responding deputies made contact with the man and deployed their K9, which resulted in a positive indication.

During the search of the vehicle, deputies found 17 grams of methamphetamine in the center console of his vehicle. 

The 42-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody.

He is now charged with Display of Plates and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
