Lincoln Parish, LA – According to the Louisiana State Police, this unfortunate accident occurred around 12:15 a.m. early Monday morning.
It happened on U.S. Highway 80 near La. Highway 818.
Louisiana State Police troopers responded to a report of a crash.
They say Buick LeSabre driving eastbound crossed over the center line into the westbound lane and struck Chevrolet Traverse head-on.
The 24-year-old driver of the Buick LeSabre was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was later identified as Malik Hicks.
LSP says 55-year-old passenger in the Traverse was also pronounced dead at the scene.
He was later identified as James Miller Jr., of Shreveport.
This incident is under investigation.
