Man suffers life-threatening injuries after east W. 70th Street shooting

Shreveport, LA – According to the Shreveport Police Department, the shooting occurred early Thursday morning.

It happened at the Sunoco convenience store located at 5400 W. 70th Street.

Shreveport Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.

When the officers arrived on scene, they found one male victim.

Police said the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The victim was reportedly shot while purchasing items at the store.
