Shreveport, LA – According to the Shreveport Police Department, the shooting occurred around 9:45 a.m. Thursday.
It happened in the 1500 block of Madison Avenue.
Shreveport Police Department officers responded to a shooting call.
When the officers arrived on scene, they found one male victim.
Police said the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The victim’s age or identity have not yet been released.
Shreveport Police Department officials say they’re looking for a Black male suspect who drove away from the scene in a blue Mazda.
