Three Men Wanted in Iberia Parish for Theft of Over $1 Million in Copper

IBERIA PARISH, LA — Authorities are actively searching for three men accused of stealing more than $1 million worth of copper from various businesses within Iberia Parish.

The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office has issued arrest warrants for Chad Gros, 51; Jude Comacho, 43; and Danny Babineaux, 46. Each suspect faces multiple charges, including eight counts of simple battery and three counts of aggravated criminal damage to property.

Deputies say the ongoing investigation may lead to additional arrests as efforts continue to apprehend those responsible for the theft.

Officials urge anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Gros, Comacho, or Babineaux to contact the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office immediately.
